Junior Lyrical
For Ages 6-9. Lyrical dance combines elements of ballet and jazz to create a soft style that
emphasizes the storytelling quality of music.An emphasis is placed on grace and fluidity,
musicality, and expressiveness to capture emotion through movement. In our Junior Level class,
poise and fluidity of movement are prioritized, in addition to proper body alignment, center of
balance, as well as working on beginning turns, jumps, and floor work. (No prerequisite. Ages 6
and older may register.) All Dancers will learn choreography and have the opportunity to

Mixed Lyrical
Lyrical Class for ages 10-18. Lyrical dance combines techniques of classical ballet and jazz, as well as some modern elements to emphasize the storytelling of music. Classes include warm up, isolations, stretches, across the floor progressions, and choreography combinations all while focusing on elements of poise, grace, fluidity, musicality, and expressiveness. Dancers will learn floor routines as well as working across the floor on jumps and turns.
